Inflow & Infiltration Study - Cromwell, CT

District 1 and 3

This Study involved and analysis of two sewer shed areas: District 1 which is approximately 1 square mile in area and District 3 the Industrial Trunk Sewer Area which involved the analysis of approximately 3,000 feet of trunk sewers.

These areas were subdivided into sub-basins for study purposes. Continuous flow metering was conducted in each sub-basin and an analysis was performed to estimate the amount of infiltration and inflow. A cost effective analysis was performed and a plan developed for the Phase II Sewer System Evaluation Survey.
