Wilbur Cross High School

Development of a vacant site adjacent to the school area and Mill River to include athletic facilities and a large parking area for the complex and for the needs of the surrounding industries.

Athletic facilities consisted of eight high-grade, fully lighted tennis courts, a quarter-mile running track with facilities for multi-use athletic events, football field, baseball field, two basketball courts (all lighted for night use), two handball courts and bocci court. All amenities for this complex were reclaimed from a spoil area.

Richard C. Lee High School

Improvements of athletic and parking facilities on the grounds of the school consisting of running track with an all-purpose field, two tennis courts and two basketball courts, fully lighted for night playing, and one handball court. The site was surrounded by a retaining wall topped with an iron picket fence for protection and aethestic enhancement of the complex.
