2005 Drainage and Roadway Improvement Program
Cardinal Engineering is currently designing the complete reconstruction of 9 miles of town roads in Vernon. This project includes hydrology and hydraulic analysis and the design of over 25,000 linear feet of new storm drainage. The Hydraflow hydraulic modeling program was utilized in the design. The drainage systems were designed in accordance with current NPDES stormwater regulations.
Gross particle separators and other water quality measures were provided. As part of this program Cardinal Engineering performed hydrologic and hydraulic analysis and condition assessment of 12 major culverts and provided design for the rehabilitation of several culverts in poor condition. Cardinal is also providing construction contract administration and resident engineering services for this project which will be constructed as 12 separate projects.
