Roadway Reconstruction: Local Streets - Vernon CT

As part of the Town of Vernon's "2005 Roadway Reconstruction Program", Cardinal Engineering Associates completed the design of 3 miles of local residential streets. These streets included Gottier Drive, Huntington Drive, Irene Drive, Jan Drive, Scott Drive, Richard Road, Brookside Drive and Valleyview Drive.

The Town of Vernon Public Works Department reconstructed these street with Cardinal Engineering providing construction engineering services throughout construction.

Because of badly deteriorated pavement throughout these streets, Cardinal conducted a pavement analysis program to evaluate the condition of the pavement and as a result of the information gathered from the analysis, designed a new pavement section. Utilizing pavement reclamation, full depth replacement of the pavement base and subbase was required on all streets.

Cardinal Engineering provided full time resident engineering services and Contract Administration services.
